What is a course reserve?
Answer
A course reserve is when a professor puts a book aside specifically for a course. This may be because there is a specific chapter from a book that they want you to read without having to purchase the entire book. Another reason a book may be on course reserve is to make a copy available for students to view while you wait for a purchased or rented copy to arrive.
Your professor will notify you ahead of time if they have a course reserve at the library.
